Gucci celebrates the year of the Tiger with a new collection

While 2021 will go down in history as a year of celebration for Gucci, as the brand celebrated its 100th anniversary with numerous collections, they want to continue with this legacy in 2022, starting with its Gucci Tiger collection.

Wanting to pay tribute to the upcoming year of the tiger, Alessandro Michele presents a collection of ready-made clothes and fashion accessories that can boast images of the great tiger that is at the heart of the collection.

The affinity of creative director Alessandro Michele towards nature is obvious in the whole line, because he reinterprets the "Flora" design of the late 60's on moccasins, shoulder bags, wallets and watches. For the first time, environmentally friendly watches wrapped in Demetra material on recycled steel cases, dials and belts were presented - which means that environmentally conscious customers will also be satisfied.

And is there a better way to celebrate a collection than a campaign video that is equally surreal and lavish? In front of photographer Angelo Pennette's lens, Gucci invites a tiger for tea while models enjoy beautiful scenes dressed in a new collection, nibbling on delicate pastries and sipping tea from cups, while a tiger sneaks around in a real setting.

The collection should appear on February 1, along with a number of pop-up stores around the world.
