In anticipation of the fall season, Chanel presents an irresistible collection of eyeshadows inspired by Gabrielle Chanel's favourite fabric.
Tweed has been inextricably linked to the Chanel fashion house since Coco Chanel turned the coarse fabric into the most feminine pieces of clothing almost a century ago. Her first tweed creations now serve as inspiration for the Chanel Beauty 2022 eyeshadow collection, Les 4 Ombres Tweed.
With the new launch, the iconic Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow palette undergoes a special 'tweed treatment' and four exclusive creations feature a tweed pattern embossed on the surface of each shade. Within each palette, the harmonious four colours reflect the creative value of the fabric.
The collection includes Tweed Fauve, a combination of earthy and fiery hues. Brick orange, brown, satin coral and amber gold bring shine and warmth to the eyes. There is also Tweed Cuivre with shimmering purple, copper brown, gold and bronze. These shades evoke the richness of precious metals that were very dear to Gabrielle Chanel.
If you prefer pink and purple eyeshadow tones, don't miss Tweed Pourpre, which will allow you to create a romantic look with a little creativity. Finally comes Tweed Brun Et Rose with four natural brown and beige tones that are perfect for any occasion.
To make the collection even more special, each eyeshadow palette comes with a beautiful matching tweed case. The covers were made by the Lesage atelier, which is part of all of Chanel's Metiers d'art collections.
Beautiful shadows inspired by the beauty of tweed complement the two new shades of Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner. Choose Cuivre Dore (copper) or Bois Noir (dark brown) to add intensity to the eyes.
The limited Les 4 Ombres Tweed eyeshadow collection will be available from September 1, 2022 in Chanel Fragrance & Beauty boutiques, as well as on the brand's website.
