This Cuvée 5.150 Cognac, which is a perfect gift for this luxury drink aficionados costs a dazzling $13,500 per package...

Having spread over five generations of the French Camus family, since 1863, the Camus Cognac is nowadays celebrating 150 years as an independent brand, owned by a single family. The company does this through a world tour that introduces the latest special edition Cuvée 5.150 Cognac.

Camus Cognac is now the largest independent cognac producer at a global scale and they have, during the previous year, come up with the Cuvée 2.105 limited edition decanter alongside the 4thlimited edition decanter of the Masterpiece Collection – the Cuvée 3.140 cognac. Today’s piece, the Cuvée 5.150 Cognac, costs a dazzling $13,500 per package and was especially made for the brand’s 150th celebration and the 5 generations that supported its creation, from the founder, Jean-Baptiste to the current President Cyril Camus.

Presented in a superb decanter manufactured by Baccarat, the cognac was blended of grapes from five of the six authorized zones in the cognac region and five different brands of cognacs. The decanter itself is a quite pleasant thing to look at, boasting rounded edges down its sides and an uniquely asymmetrical, organic pattern which resembles a waterfall.

The impressive Camus Cuvée 5.150 Cognac will strictly be available in a limited edition of 1,492 individually numbered decanters, 150 of which will also included a personally numbered 100 ml sample, saved for the brand’s library.
