The encyclopedia for lovers of wine has been described as the biggest ever written, with almost 1,400 types of grapes and wines.

Written by the famous wine expert Janis Robinson in cooperation with Julia Harding and Jose Volamouso, botanic and genetics experts, and they have created a comprehensive book of enology, history, family lines and heritage of 1,368 sorts of wine grapes.

Beside the big research about wine families and different types of grapes, the book contains details about best wines in the world, tastes, their aromas and their makers. The scientist consider it the second part of Robinsons guide for enologists ``The Oxford Companion to Wine``.

Luxury guide is expected in stores and on the internet by the end of the year.
