RUPERT MURDOCHS PENTHOUSE

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen gained a new neighbor for their ultra-luxe Manhattan apartment. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has agreed to purchase the penthouse at One Madison for a whopping $57.25 million, reported Murdoch owned Wall Street Journal.

Penthouse consists of floors 57 to 60 of the building and 10,160 square feet of living space, five bedrooms and 5½ bathrooms. Developer Related Companies reported the purchase include two separate units, one a 6,850 square foot triplex with a $50 million price tag and the other a three-bedroom apartment at $16.5 million. Two unconnected apartments can be easily connected. Penthouse also has its own elevator and keyed elevator entrance onto private foyer.

Penthouse has a 586 square feet wraparound terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views of the Hudson and East rivers, Empire State building and the One World Trade Center. It also gets great views of the Clock Tower building from its double height-living with a circular staircase.

82-year-old Murdoch also receive access to One Madison building amenities such as the 50 foot lap pool, fitness center, yoga room, screening room, and playroom for children.

Renderings shows a spacious, elegantly decorated penthouse, but Murdoch decided to purchase it as an unfinished unit.
