$232 Million Superyacht Energy Hits the Luxury Market – Owned by One of Ukraine’s Wealthiest

Forget about “pre-loved” Hermès bags – this time, the spotlight falls on Energy, a superyacht masterpiece redefining luxury at sea.

Stretching 77 meters across five decks, this floating palace will be one of the brightest highlights of the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show this September, where it is bound to steal the scene. Launched in 2022 for a former First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, the vessel has only been used occasionally, and now arrives on the market with an asking price of $232 million. While it surpasses the cost of many newly launched yachts, one look at her opulent interiors is enough to dispel any doubt – Energy is the very definition of extravagance afloat.

Design Excellence: Espen Øino & Zuretti Interiors

The yacht’s exterior bears the signature of legendary designer Espen Øino, while her interiors are crafted by the French design house Zuretti. The result is a dazzling mosaic of fine materials, carefully chosen colors, and artistically sculpted details. Every corner is illuminated by bespoke lighting – from crystal chandeliers to unique custom lamps – enveloping the yacht in an atmosphere of glamour and sophistication.

With a gross tonnage of 2,885 GT, Energy accommodates 14 guests across seven cabins, with guest suites designed with the same grandeur as the owner’s residence. The primary suite is distinguished by its sheer spaciousness, complete with a sofa, elegant vanity, and sweeping sea views through panoramic windows.

A Private Haven for the Owner

The upper deck, reserved exclusively for the owner, is nothing short of a private sanctuary: a semicircular window overlooking the horizon, a terrace with a jacuzzi and marble fireplace, and an intimate lounge. The suite connects directly to a luxurious bathroom centered around a vast bathtub, while a walk-in wardrobe the size of a villa provides ample space for couture collections and evening gowns.

Indulgence at Every Turn

On Energy, everything revolves around hedonism. The yacht boasts more bars than one could imagine, each opening to endless sea vistas. The entertainment deck includes a music lounge with a Steinway piano, guitar, and marble bar, while the main deck houses a study and – a true rarity – a martial arts room.

The grand dining room seats 18, with monumental chandeliers and lavish décor evoking a palatial setting. After a sumptuous dinner, guests can retreat to the lower deck, which hosts a wellness haven featuring a spa, hammam, sauna, beauty salon, gym with ocean views, and an exclusive beach club.

The Billionaire Behind Energy

The yacht belongs to Valeriy Horoshkovskyi, one of Ukraine’s wealthiest individuals. Born in Kyiv, he built his fortune across multiple industries – from metal trading and banking to furniture, food production, and media ownership. In 2005, he acquired a majority stake in Inter TV for $250 million, while his political career later took him to top government positions, including Minister of Finance and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2012.

Today, with an estimated fortune of around $500 million according to SuperYacht Times, Horoshkovskyi resides in Koncha-Zaspa, often dubbed the “Beverly Hills of Ukraine,” where his villa mirrors the same grandeur and extravagance embodied by his superyacht Energy.
