The winter has arrived, and you know what that means, if you're a fan of snow and ice - Swedish Ice Hotel has reopened...
This popular resort which located in Lapland, this year surprised us with 19 new ice suites, each being unique and it is virtually impossible to choose a favorite. For this, the twenty-sixth edition of the Ice Hotel, artists around the world have visited Sweden and mingled their fingers, to create their own unique masterpiece of ice.
From the huge number of applicants, only the best were given a chance to show off their skills and create one of the rooms. This year, the rooms have been given the theme of nature, with animal patterns and naturally inspired architecture. Now, this hotel has 50 suites, a church and a bar. Each room has its own, unique thematic design, giving each visitor the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience.
We have already mentioned several times this hotel made of ice, so we have to remind ourselves of our former favorite rooms. It was the apartment that got the BMW brand design, which as well has its own private sauna. However, in addition to commitment we feel towards this apartment, we had to take a peek and see the novelties, which left us speechless. Chandeliers in this year's edition of the hotel are made of 1,000 hand-cut ice crystals, while the snow made all the buildings. Of this amount of snow, you can make 700 million snowballs!
