Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur is glamorously located just five kilometers away from Jodhpur International Airport (JDH) – this will take around 20 minutes by car. Part of Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces and Taj Group, Umaid Bhawan Palace used to be the home of Jodhpur’s royal family. This is, in fact, one of the most beautiful palaces in India. As you get past the doors, you stumble upon a massively luxurious lobby, with enormous domed ceilings above a patterned marble floor that extends outwards from a superbly arranged central seating spot.
