INTERESTING HERMES STORE WINDOWS

Along with designing signature high-end fashion houses are also investing time and money in dressing up the windows of their stores.

And it’s not only during festivals like Christmas and New Year that the stores treat shoppers with elaborately dressed windows. These days, it’s the hottest trend to add a touch of intense art and glamour to design out-of-the-world windows all round the year. The latest to join the league is Hermès Barcelona Store.

The artistically done up window of Hermès in Paseo de Gracià, Barcelona tells the story of a fox who moved into the window with all his personal objects, showing a bit of his life and personality. The leather fox is living in a human-styled interior decked with hand-made paper furniture giving a surrealistic aspect to the scene.

The fox’s den has been designed by France based Zim & Zou studio for the French fashion house. The blue and orange themed window is peppered with household objects like table, stool, photo frames, telephone, bottle, keys, clock, lamp and more, exclusively shaped out of paper by hand.

Hermès makes its presence felt in form of scarves, ties and shoes that are strategically placed around the fox’s den. While the fox has been intricately shaped out of colored strips of cut leather, a scarf from the brand’s latest collection tied around the modish animal’s neck would have made a wild fashion statement.
