Hermes - wild version of luxury

When we say Hermes, you probably think of the famous Birkin bag or maybe a silk scarf, but they have much more in their offer...

Although best known for its fashion accessories, they were able to translate its aesthetics of luxury in flawless pieces to decorate your home. Hermes brand recently unveiled its new porcelain service, called Hermes Carnets d'Equateur Porcelain Collection, which is a unique tribute to the artist and naturalist, Robert Dallet, who is a longtime associate of the brand.

Discovered in Des Acacias Studio in Paris, this excellent collection is more reminiscent of an art installation, because due to its presentation, the entire ground floor of artistic studio was transformed into the Amazon jungle. With vines made of drapery, fog and exotic plants, after five days of detailed work, this collection could be presented in its pristine environment.

During the official debut of the new porcelain line, a few selected guests attended, and they had the opportunity to see first range saucers, tea sets and trays, which were carefully scattered throughout the lush greenery of the studio.

Following similar pattern aesthetics of the wild jungle other levels of this area received the decoration and the whole exhibition was completed in a very interesting way. The entire collection was presented at a long table, to show the perfect dining room decorated for distinguished guests.

Impeccable and diligent details of Dallet’s sketches of the carbon, pens or ink, are carefully positioned on the surface of porcelain, and in its own way, gave life to the whole collection.

Robert Dallet spent most of his life in documenting and observing each element of nature and wildlife, and this amazing collection is certainly worthy of its name, because it reminds us of his passion and unlimited admiration he felt for natural magic and beauty.
