HOTEL CHOCOLAT IN ST LUCIA

Hotel Chocolat is the only chocolate company in the United Kingdom that has a private plantation. Their products are preferred by even the most discerning of enthusiasts.

Their own plantation, the Rabot Estate, which has been cultivating cocoa for almost three centuries, the place where they get their raw materials from, is located in one of the most stunning landscapes in the world, between the Piton Mountains, on the island of St. Lucia, in the Caribbean.

They have decided to genuinely live up to their name, having recently opened a luxury boutique hotel in the local cocoa tree surroundings. Reportedly named the Boucan, by Hotel Chocolat, it is located within the Rabot Estate. The 140 acre stretch of land provides breathtaking views towards the Piton Mountains. Guests are able to explore the estate, the waters of the Caribbean or even wander through the tropical forest. They can learn how chocolate is produced by the famous brand or can even make some for themselves.

In terms of relaxation, Boucan provides a pool lounge named Club Boucan which consists of a bar with all sorts of dining options, catered to your own lounge chair, and a 50 feet black quartz infinity pool. The Boucan Spa is also a fine place to choose, for the exquisite massage techniques and rejuvenating treatments it can provide.

Boasting with a private restaurant, Boucan pulls out all the stops to delight the guests’ taste buds. Obviously, chocolate is a signature of this boutique hotel; inside the kitchen, though, chefs cook local, traditional or international meals, focusing mainly on fish, spices and plants grown nearby.

The nightly price tags at the Boucan start at $350 for the 450 square foot lodges, while the few more luxurious lodges, which overview the Piton Mountains and the Caribbean Sea, can be rented for rates starting at $550 per night.
