In a seamless fusion of Italian craftsmanship and timeless style, fashion houses Gucci and Pomellato have joined forces to unveil Monili—an exclusive high jewelry collection that radiates sophistication and reverence for artisanal tradition.
Premiered during the Gucci Cruise 2026 show in Florence, Monili is more than a dazzling display of diamonds and gold; it is an authentic celebration of Italian artistry, rooted in the heritage of both leatherworking and goldsmithing.
Named after the Italian word for “jewels,” the Monili collection draws inspiration from archival Pomellato designs dating back to 1984. It embraces sculptural lines, the tactile allure of leather, and the opulence of pavé diamonds. Each piece balances delicate curves with bold expression—ranging from necklaces and bracelets to minaudières that resemble works of art more than mere fashion accessories.
One of the standout creations is a structured minaudière clutch, crafted in black leather with a white gold bracelet handle encrusted in pavé diamonds. Other highlights include a refined bracelet merging smooth leather bands with wavy gold accents, and a statement cuff that fuses black leather with a pavé-set white gold clasp.
Elsewhere in the collection, chocolate-hued leather intertwines with rose gold in the form of knots and elegant loops—seen in classic necklaces and bracelets that evoke both sensuality and strength.
At the heart of Monili lies a philosophy of subtle harmony—a balance of materials, contrasts, and meaning. Each piece is crafted to perfection, infused with emotion, technical mastery, and a distinct Italian sensibility.
Monili represents more than a collaboration between two iconic fashion houses—it offers a new definition of luxury: one not flaunted, but intimately experienced.
