Kylie Jenner Arrives by Private Jet for Bezos’ Venice Wedding – and Sparks Outrage Over Her Carbon Footprint

When Kylie Jenner landed in Venice for the lavish wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, the glamour was undeniable—but so was the backlash.

Her transatlantic journey from Los Angeles to Italy aboard her $73 million private jet, Kylie Air, reignited fierce debate around “elite pollution.” The 12-hour flight generated approximately 24 tons of CO₂, equivalent to the emissions of an average car driving around the world three times.

Traveling with her children, Stormi (7) and Aire (3), Jenner touched down in her ultra-luxurious Bombardier Global Express 7500, which recently underwent a major makeover—from its former pink “Barbie” look to a new chrome-silver exterior, reportedly costing an additional $250,000.

Inside the jet, every seat is draped with Hermès blankets, and guests enjoy full-size beds and gourmet meals at 40,000 feet—including Asian chicken, Caprese salad, gluten-free Alfredo pasta, and strawberry margaritas made with her sister Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand.

But while Kylie indulged midair, the internet fumed. Critics pointed out that in just the first 24 days of 2025, Jenner had already completed 12 private jet flights, emitting over 160 tons of CO₂—including one trip that lasted only 15 minutes, taken to avoid a 45-minute drive.

Ironically, while all eyes were on Bezos’ extravagant wedding—which reportedly brought nearly 90 private jets into Venice—Kylie Air once again stole the spotlight (and the criticism). With a $73 million price tag, first-class indulgence, and a glowing celebrity profile, it’s easy to see why her jet draws attention—but much harder to ignore the environmental consequences of this lifestyle.
