Manly version of the iconic women’s bag

Because, who wouldn’t want to wear a Baguette?

Like many people say, gender is just a construction, the pay gap between men and women is real, but there are many men in the world, somewhere in between the need for a briefcase and to many things they need to stuff in their pockets. Some of that, if not the whole story, can explain the reason why many brands are targeting men as their key target group by creating men iterations of many interesting bags.

Fendi, the Italian brand which was led by the famous designer Karl Lagerfeld, just launched their gentlemen’s version of Baguette bag. For millennial, this bag is iconic, while it was presented for the first time in 1997 when it became an instant hit. Earlier this year, Fendi has refreshed its bag in some way, and one of the newest versions is meant for men.

New models, which are available via the Fendi website and in selected stores, seem like an elegant version of the most popular fashion piece of the nineties – belt bag. There are eight different bags with interesting designs on offer, in versions of white, black, navy and gray leather, python and black mink. A few models were created from sporty nylon fabric.

New bag is spacious enough to hold all your everyday necessities, like your phone, wallet, keys and binders. Aside from that, it also has a small pocket with a zipper, to interior pockets and an open compartment in the back. The versions we can see on the site cost form 2.790 up to 9.600 dollars.
