Not long after the rumours that took the internet by storm last week, Tiffany & Co. and Nike officially announced their long-awaited collaboration…

For now, as proof of the collaboration we only have one post on Instagram, where we can see a Tiffany & Co blue Nike sneaker box, with "A legendary pair" written above it and the Swoosh logo taking centre stage in white.

As we could see last week, the jewellery giant and the giant in the world of sports shoes decided to join forces, for the first time since the launch of the Nike SB Dunk Low model in Tiffany blue back in 2005.

According to sources close to the story, this collaboration will primarily focus on the Air Force 1 Low model. While we're not exactly sure what their joint design will look like, the leaked images tell us that it will be an all-black AF1 model with a nubuck upper, accented with Tiffany blue Swoosh logos on the sides. In addition, the sneakers will come with chrome detailing on the heel, as well as innovative laces.

The new collaboration is named 1837, after the jewellery brand's line that includes bracelets, rings and necklaces with 1837 branding, as a tribute to the founding year of the Tiffany & Co brand. For now, we don't have any additional information, other than the fact that they will most likely be launched during the spring season, with a price tag of around $400.
