Metropolitan opera accessories line

Imagine that you own a piece of scenery from the former Metropolitan Opera, for example in the form of extravagant curtain? And that piece is transformed into a luxury accessory.

This is now possible thanks to the Ukrainian designer Clara Kasavina, using her talent for transforming costumes, curtains and chandeliers in the Metropolitan Opera in stunning jewelry and other accessories.

Clara Kasavina created a collection called Metropolitan Opera. Unique pieces with long tradition were transposed into wearable evening bags, made of former costumes worn in plays, clutch purses made of original and gorgeous scenic curtains, which were saved and preserved when the former Metropolitan Opera was demolished in 1966. Also in the collection are beautiful pendants that are designed from the remains of gorgeous chandeliers, which adorned the interior of the famous opera hall.

Or imagine that part of the building hangs around your neck? Clara got the idea that parts of chandeliers could also be used to make jewelry, so you can possess a unique object that contains parts of the huge Swarovski crystals that were an integral part hanging chandeliers.

Kasavina leads her brand with her husband for more than 30 years and her collections contain handbags, decorative ribbons, jewelry ... Her jewelry was worn by many celebrities such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna ... Design of craftsmanship is easily recognizable among the international jet-set and in 2011 she received the annual award for the creation of independent designer handbags, awarded by the magazine InStyle in the category of Best evening bag for the red carpet.
