„Napa Valley Vintners“ is nonprofit trade organization responsible for promotion and protection of Napa Valley name as prime term in wine regions. From seven founders in 1944. today society consists from 400 Napa Valley vineries and collectively they lead wine industry around the world. Organization has teams of experts that are responsible for everything that happens in this area.
Napa Valley spreads on 485 120 hectares and only 45 000 hectares is under vineyards. Reputation in the world is huge, but this region is counted as only 4% of all wine manufacture in California.
Northern point of this region is Diamond Mountain where the first Cabernet was made in 2004. It was called „J. Davies label“. Few other prime examples of high quality wines from this area are Pinot Noir – „Saintsbury“, „Acacia“ and „Carneros Creek“, and Chardonnay – „Patz&Hall“ and „David Ramey“.
