8 are the new finishes that Roberto Giovannini has recently introduced at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2013. 8 nuances ranging from trendy colors, modern and contemporary to the more traditional manufacturing gold leaf and silver leaf reinterpreted and made unique by the ability of skilled craftsmen.
Along with trendy colors like the Grey Stone and the Riace were presented more classic decorations such as Rovere sbiancato - natural color of the wood polished with the white washed coating, Oro leggero - very elegant finish, realized on oak colour base and enriched by very distressed gold leaf and Oro Antiquariato – characterized by a very distressed gold leaf coated with sophisticated top patinas and powders that give to this finish a dull appearance, extremely contemporary.
Equally a contemporary finish is the decor Argento Aluminium, made with genuine real silver leaf, which, thanks to the oxide effect obtained by a special processing, completes the wide range of silver finishes already included in the collection. Today, Roberto Giovannini’s proposal provides 48 different finishes, made by several coatings of patinas, pigments, waxes, gold leaf or silver leaf, all strictly hand applied according to the best tradition of Decoro Fiorentino.
