REICHENBACH COLOR COLLECTION

The Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach looks back to a more than 111year old company history, where manual labour has always been playing an important role and still plays an important role.

The main building from year 1900 next to the new manufactory complex from 1995 is still used for the production. There are stored current and historical moulds, which are wellcared- for treasures of the Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach.

The collection colour is one of the most successful lines of the manufactory. Its very individual look is reached by a special technique of applying paint by hand. The designer from Hamburg, gerd sommerlade, designed this collection for Reichenbach. He started in 2006 with bowls in different sizes. Since then, he replenished the collection with more than 30 moulds. The latest forms are a dessert
plate with elegant edge and a big, oval dish for the festive dinner.

The colour is applied with a sponge by hand on every single piece. Through there, every piece becomes a unique specimen. Then, the sponge-painted area is bordered with a fine brushstroke, see the juice cup. To finish off, every porcelain piece of the collection
Colour gets a costly golden decoration, painted by hand. Due to that, the pattern gets its very own charm.
