Dior launches a new impeccable furniture collection

Over the past few years, we've seen the iconic fashion house successfully design homewares with the launch of a gothic Halloween collection, along with some rather unexpected tableware collections and a functional gardening set.

Last year we even saw Dior team up with Vespa proving once and for all that there really isn't much that Dior can't touch and turn into a true masterpiece. Now, the famous fashion house has debuted a new collection of garden furniture that is inspired by Parisian Cafe culture.

This is not the first time that Dior has created furniture. The famous brand has previously collaborated on a series of furniture collections with French industrial architect and designer Philippe Starck, creating an Italian aluminium reinterpretation of the classic "Medallion" chair, called "Miss Dior".

For this new collection, Dior collaborates with French designer Sam Baron, winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de La Ville de Paris, unveiling many exclusive pieces of furniture. The outdoor furniture collection is made in France and consists of chairs and armchairs that evoke the oval shape of the 'Medallion' chair, which became a symbol of Louis XVI style and was a piece that Christian Dior used constantly to seat guests at his fashion shows.

The collection also includes round and square tables made of green metal that complete the new furniture line. Oval shapes of the chairs and armchairs are filled with latticed metal, which also appears on the surfaces of the tables.

The new Dior outdoor furniture collection can be found in "La Patisserie Dior" and Dior cafes worldwide, and the pieces are also available in stores and in selected Dior boutiques.
