Endless exploration, depending of aesthetic and tecnological contents, synergies: this is Nahoor. The company was founded by William Pianta who introduces his own new project “Nahoor” after a long experience as a lighting designer of private and public contexts and through relevant collabotations with manufacturing companies. Endless exploration, deepening of the aesthetic and technological contents are the foundamental elements of Nahoor’s script. The designer’s research focused on the materials, mostly metal, on its own characteristics, processing and finishes. The materials used are celebrated in all their physical strenght, becoming the real protagonist of product history. With his work, William Pianta wants to tell the uniqueness of every single lamp drawn, through clean shapes, pruning the needless.

“Nahoor”, Aramaic word for “origin”, “source” of light, with a strong evocative meaning, was born to give again to light a suitable role for sacredness of domestic environment and for the art of receiving. Through a continuous research of beauty that generates a perfectly harmonious relationship between the elements and symmetry, Nahoor gives life to lamps with essential lines that occupy the space without invading it or compressing it. Every Nahoor lamp is handmade and it is the highest expression of artisanship and Italian know-how. Every Nahoor items has got its own unique and private history: the light show gives every time one-off emotions.
