Bugatti presents an "affordable" variant of the world's most expensive car

The Bugatti Chiron Noire will come in two variants, and its price will be only half the price of the record breaking La Voiture Noire model…

The world's most expensive car has become a little more affordable, at least for a few lucky ones. Just a few days ago, Bugatti unveiled the all-new Chiron Noire, a super-exclusive version of the La Voiture Noire model, costing $ 18.7 million. The latest edition of the glamorous speedster will be available in two versions and will be limited to only twenty pieces. Also, it will cost up to six times less than the model that broke all the records in terms of price.

Like the unique La Voiture Noire, Chiron Noire is inspired by the special black version of the Type 57 SC Atlantic, created by Jean Bugatti in the 1930s, according to an official press release from the brand. One of only four such cars ever produced, it disappeared at the outset of World War II, and if found, it would surely knock off its modern version from the throne.

With a slightly more down-to-earth appearance than the original, Chiron Noire remains one of the most exclusive and luxurious supercars on the market. The two versions that will be introduced are called Noire Elegance and Noire Sportive. Both models were given a black interior and exterior, accented by small silver accents. The Elegance model has a glossy carbon body and interior that is entirely black in addition to the famous Bugatti line.

Meanwhile, the Sportive has a matte black finish and a completely black interior, with all the buttons and switches. Both models received Bugatti insignia made of silver and black enamel, with carbon insignia on the center armrest.

Under the hood, Bugatti left things as they were. Both versions of the Chiron Noire have the same quad-turbocharged 8.0 liter W16 engine as the "standard" model. This will certainly not disappoint the Bugatti loyalist much, as it is capable of delivering 1,500 horsepower, or acceleration from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.4 seconds.

Given that Chiron Noire is a limited edition, it costs a little more than the standard Chiron. Both Noire Elegance and Noire Sportive models are priced at $ 3.3 million, while existing Chiron Sport models can receive Noire treatment at $ 110,000. The first deliveries of these novelties will start in the second quarter of 2020.
