Casino tycoon bought himself a new yacht

With over 91.000 gallon fuel tanks, this Italian yacht will conquer any ocean…

Australian billionaire, mogul in the casino world and superyacht collector, James Parker, just got his latest toy – a brand new Benetti gigayacht, which he named IJE.

Mariah Carrey’s ex fiancée had to pay over 200 million dollars for this Italian floating palace, or, to be more specific, the longest Benetti yacht ever created. It was constructed in Livorno shipyard, while it reached its owner in the perfect time – the top of the Mediterranean cruise season.

Parker, who is fifty one, recently sold his shares in his casino company Crown Resorts for 1.8 billion dollars, and he named his newest yacht after his three children – Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle.

Still, this yachts shouldn’t be confused with EJI, Dutch Amels superyacht which Parker bought in May last year and sold it after five months for 47 million dollars.

Before EJI, Parker was the proud owner of a massive German yacht Artic P, which he gave to his sister Gretel.

During the past few years, Parker had owned an Amels Seahorse which he had sold in 2015, Mangusta he named Z Ellerston and Leopard, which he named Z Sydney.

Of course, the new Benetti yacht is the crown jewel of his armada. Previously code named FB275, this yachts is one of just three Benetti gigayachts, and it fits into that category because it is over 100 meters long.

IJE yacht has twin MTU 3.800 hp diesel engines under the hood, with max speed of 18.5 knots. If you lower the gas to 14 knots, with its 91.000 gallons tanks, this yacht has a range of 6.500 nautical miles.

The new yachts also contains electrical Schottel pump-jet system with 670 HP, for short distances. Aside from the eleven guest and fifteen crew cabins, this yacht will come equipped with every toy imaginable, as well as amenities like movie theater, sauna, gym and huge heated pool.
