FLAGSHIP MYTHOS THE LARGEST RIVA YACHT

This is the largest Riva yacht and the first one ever to be construced entirely in lightweight aluminum alloy...

Iconic 170-year-old Italian brand Riva Yachts is celebrated for the world over for beautiful wooden boats that evoke the Dolce Vita days when Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Aristotle Onassis and Prince Ranier of Monaco were regularly seen at the helm of a Riva craft. While the company has not abandoned its heritage, which has always been more about style than size in 2010 they collaborated with Gucci on a special edition of their classic Aquariva model their newly unveiled flagship is the largest Riva luxury yacht ever built, and the first to be constructed entirely in lightweight aluminum alloy.

Dubbed the 122 Mythos, the luxurious yacht will feature posh accommodations for up to ten people. The lower deck encompasses the owners suite and the guest staterooms amidships while the crew area (one captains cabin and two twin crew cabins) is located to the bow. Owners can choose from three different customizable layouts featuring three, four or five guest cabins. The streamlined, modern interior showcases rich, dark woods, neutral fabrics and chrome trim, complementing elegant and spacious exteriors with clever design details.

The large main deck cockpit is focused on a luxe sun-pad and a table that can seat up to ten people for al fresco dining. The salon and the dinette have over-sized windows with panoramic ocean views and are connected to the helm station, while the wide galley is located to the front of the deck. The main deck cockpit also offers access to the aft swimming platform, designed with an electro hydraulic system allowing guests the option of adjusting its height depending on whether they wish to dive or merely slip into the water. Two garage hatches on either side of the platform house a 16-foot tender and a jet ski. The uppermost sun deck offers the best vantage point and the perfect place to enjoy the view, with a Jacuzzi pool surrounded by wide sunbathing sofas, along with a dinette area and foldable table. There is also a second retractable helm station should the owner which to take over the controls yet still enjoy the company of his guests. The planning aluminum hull allows the yacht to reach a peak speed of 27 knots, with a cruising speed of 25 knots, thanks to two MTU 12 V 4000 M 93L engines. Orders are now being taken for the first models to be built.
