HOTEL DU MINISTERE - PARIS

Located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, moments away from the Madeleine and the Faubourg Saint Honoré, the Hôtel du Ministère has just opened its grand glass doors.

The interior harmoniously combines the classic with the contemporary - warm tones are punctuated by accents of colour. Retro touches from the fifties are mixed with modern design creating a contemporary yet eminently stylish hotel experience.

The hotel has been redesigned entirely by interior designer and creator extraordinaire François Champsaur. He has created a unique space that feels like a contemporary house - a home away from home where the living spaces are open plan and there is a feeling of light and harmony throughout the hotel. The choice of design materials has been made in order to create a perfect balance between the simple and the elaborate - marble juxtaposed with wood, natural tones mixed with vibrant splashes of colour. Gorgeous warm toned carpets with geometric prints create an inviting feel to the rooms and suites throughout the hotel.

Exquisite art and imposing scupltures adorn the hotel lobby. Coloured lithographs by David Lynch, Barthélémy Toguo and Raymond Pettibon sit alongside scultpures by Sébastien Kito. A feast for the eyes and a rare privilege to see such an impressive contemporary art collection adorning the walls of a hotel. An intimate "at home" atmosphere is created and hotel guests can enjoy a personal and intimate experience rather than a mass market corporate one. The lobby, rooms, suites and communal areas of the hotel are all designed with utmost care and harmony.A guided tour and taster of what the hotel has to offer....
