Spectacular piece in honor of Bentley centenary celebration

Bentley Motors and Heinz Mayer, a renowned family-owned jewelry company, have teamed up to celebrate the centenary of the famed brand with a captivating diamond necklace, with incredible gemstones originating from Africa…

The jewelry piece was just unveiled during the 2019 Jewelry Arabia trade show in Bahrain and we must admit that in one word, it is gorgeous. Designed by Bentley designer Chris Cook, the necklace features a magnificent gold and platinum set with a pear-shaped 20.08 carat yellow diamond, which owes its unusual color to the nitrogen molecules in its composition. Its design is inspired by Bentley wings, while the stone itself is housed in a cradle made of 18-carat yellow gold, which is further decorated with 56 natural diamonds and laser-engraved details.

Commenting on the celebratory necklace, Cook said in a statement: “The collaboration between Heinz Mayer and Bentley Motors is the pinnacle of handcrafted quality and design. For our centenary, we created a unique piece of jewelry inspired by the EXP 100 GT. The central piece in our car concept is the elegant visualization of the customer's point of contact with the vehicle. With this piece of jewelry we wanted to present exactly that”.
