NEW HUGO BOSS STORES IN HONG KONG

HUGO BOSS celebrates Grand Openings of BOSS Stores in Hong Kong...

Last night HUGO BOSS hosted an event to celebrate the grand openings of its two new BOSS Stores at Central Building and on Canton Road in Hong Kong. Situated in the city’s key business and premium retail districts, both venues feature the new-generation store concept which has already been adopted at selected store locations in major global cities such as Shanghai, Paris and New York.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the openings was held at the Central Building store. Some 10,800 square feet of sales space make it the largest BOSS Store in the Asia-Pacific region to date.

At the ceremony and on the following day, a highlight collection took center stage on the ground floor of the Central Building store: BOSS Womenswear for Fall/Winter 2014 by Jason Wu, including the runway looks that were presented at the New York Fashion Week in February. Therefore, Jason Wu attended the ceremony as special guest. Wu’s debut collection for BOSS was inspired by the company's main campus in Germany with its modern glass architecture surrounded by lush greenery. His signature style features clean lines and confident shapes, exuding beauty within structure – the visionary design philosophy of HUGO BOSS.

The ceremony was followed by an after-party at the well-known location ‘Pier 7,’ where guests enjoyed a panoramic view of the spectacular Hong Kong skyline. In addition to BOSS Womenswear Artistic Director Jason Wu, actress Margot Robbie and DJ Solange Knowles, the attendees included key business partners, press representatives, musicians and an array of international and national celebrities.

At the after-party, the collection’s inspiration was reflected throughout. The cocktail and dance area mirrored the same concept, creating a unique environment for the guests to experience the contemporary and sophisticated design philosophy of HUGO BOSS.

We are pleased to be opening two new BOSS Stores in Hong Kong which demonstrate our faith in the robust future we anticipate for this major Asian commercial hub. These two new statement-making stores impressively demonstrate the core values of HUGOBOSS,” says Dr. Gerrit Ruetzel, President and CEO Asia Pacific, HUGOBOSS Hong Kong Limited.

The Store Concept

Black steel grids with LED strips and exquisite fabric wall panels form the striking signature elements of the new store concept – and reflect the unflinching design philosophy of HUGO BOSS: contemporary and sophisticated. Black profiles contrasting with bronze-tinted glass embody the confidence and modern dynamism of the HUGO BOSS brands, while high-gloss and mirrored surfaces reflect their clean, classic elegance. The overall space creates the perfect environment to realize a 360-degree experience for customers.

A truly visionary highlight is the “objet de lumière,” a contemporary interpretation of a grand chandelier and a stunning fixture embodying both form and function, forging as it does a dynamic link between the different store levels.

The strength and clarity of the new store interior provide the ideal space to convey the spirit of each of the HUGO BOSS brands to customers. The distinctively refined, clean and modern store design, as well as the prime locations in the city's key business and premium retail districts, will ensure a unique retail experience.
