LARGEST SUNSEEKER YACHT

Sunseeker largest ever yacht for former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan has been revealed last weekend at Poole Quay.

Jordan has been waiting two years for the 155ft superyacht and he splashed out £32 million ($53 million) for it. The giant yacht was painstakingly moved out of the shed in Poole, Dorset where it is being built, and took more than an hour to move the short distance into the yard.

The four-deck vessel can accommodate up to 10 guests at once in 5 bedrooms, and 11 members of staff. On board the yacht is a nightclub, a lower deck day-room, a dining area, bar, its own garage for jet skis, as well as a ‘beach club’ stern and panoramic viewing platforms down the side, giving guests a front-row seat for the Grand Prix at Monaco in case Jordan decides to attend the event.

Besides being 155ft long, the yacht weighs a total of 200 tonnes, with a maximum speed of 22 knots (25mph), and can travel 4,000 nautical miles in a single journey.

This won’t probably be the problem for Jordan, but refuelling the super yacht’s 60,000 litre diesel engine will cost him a cool £30,000 ($50,000) each time.
