Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the victory Carol Shelby on the FIA International Championship, Baume & Mercier presents its beautiful novelties...

Of course, these are limited editions, and inspired with the world of racing - they are called Capeland Shelby Cobra. This limited edition of 1,965 represents a watch in the version made of steel and 98 luxury versions with the final touches of 18carat red gold. Each of them has parts made of the AR-treated sapphire crystal; the last part of the housing is made of the same material, engraved with the Carroll Shelby signature. Steel and gold versions will still be something different – they will have different mechanisms and belts models.

Dials of both watches will have beautiful finishing details in Shelby Cobra Guardsman blue, with two vertical lines, Arabic numerals and hands in the shape of a cobra, coated with Superluminova coating. As we have already said, the belts will also be slightly different, whereby the steel versions have a black alligator belt with red leather lining, with gray stitching and steel buckle, while the gold version have a black alligator strap with blue lining of alligator skin, red stitching and 18carat gold buckle.
