Brazilian born jewellery designer Fernando Jorge takes inspiration from the laid back attitude and effortless sensuality of his home country...
His organic shapes and fluid lines result in ambiguously provocative and elegant pieces. To materialise his designs, Fernando makes use of a broad range of jewellery manufacturing techniques, combining highly specialised craftsmanship with contemporary technology.
One of his trademarks is the use of specially cut Brazilian gemstones. His first collection was presented in June 2010 as a result of his MA in Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Since then, he has gained an international media following and is widely considered to be amongst the brightest emerging talents in the world of jewellery design.
