It is a feminine fragrance called Misia, which is the fifteenth perfume in Les Excusifs de Chanel collection, but the first work of the perfumer Olivier Polge, who became chief perfumer Chanel fashion house, following in the footsteps of his father, Jacques Polge.

Misia perfume is named after the majestic Parisian queen Misia, best friend of the famous Coco Chanel. She had a small salon in Paris and was the muse of many artists from the period of her life. This is the first venture of younger Polge for fashion house Chanel.

"My inspiration for this fragrance was not Misia alone, but the turning point in the biography of Gabriel Chanel, which was marked by their meeting. With this fragrance, I wanted to illustrate the atmosphere of Russian ballet, theater smell of powder and makeup this time."

Powdery notes of violet, iris, iris root, tusca roses and roses from Grasse reminiscent of the era of the 1920s years. Hot and seductive base consists of notes originating from the region of Laos and tonka beans. The smell is powdery, floral and reminiscent of the smell of costly cosmetics.
