A plain banana taped to a wall with insulating tape was sold during Art Basel Miami Beach last week. The mere fact that it was sold is stunning enough, but when the information that its price has reached $ 120,000 is added, it will leave you speechless, breathless and pulse-free for a few moments.

Catelan, the artist responsible for this whole story, is known worldwide for his sculptures that evoke popular culture.
