Details on the designer's Sephora makeup line, Marc Jacobs Beauty, have just emerged and it looks like it's going to be a mega cosmetics label with 122 products. August 9 is the date of the official release of his beauty line.
The line includes four categories: Smart Complexion (foundations, concealer, and powder), Blacquer (eye pen eyeliner, lash lifter, and gel crayon), Hi-Per Color (lip products, blush, eye shadow, bronzer, and nail lacquer), and Boy Tested, Girl Approved (unisex picks like lip balm, brow gel, and concealer).
"We spent a lot of time developing materials and choosing the colors," he said. "We work with the technicians at the mills to achieve a certain effect, so we did the same thing with Sephora. The color palette tells a story and that story is based on a spirit. I chose different types of characters, such as an ingénue."
Can't wait until August to pick up the new goodies? Jacobs and Sephora will be teasing the collection on July 19 by offering five products.
