Bottega Veneta, has to its credits many boutiques around the world that it could boast of, especially its China store and the one to open in Milan this summer...
The company has recently added another feather to its cap, by opening a gallery-like store at 8445 Melrose Place in Los Angeles. Bottega Veneta already has two other stores in the United States, one at Madison Avenue (a women’s only store) and the another in New York City (a men’s only store). The new store from the opulent brand is a unisex venture spread across a retail space of over 2,727sq.ft., that offers a concise, curated selection of home, men’s and women’s leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, gifts and fragrance.
Bottega Veneta hasn’t tampered with the ivy covered exteriors of the building, and has only added two small signs. However so, the interiors have been given an upgrade by Creative Director Tomas Maier, to center around the idea of lightness and clean lines. New materials and finishes have been extensively used, creating new design elements. White frosted glass, transparent resin with imbedded mesh, white painted steel, white lacquered wood, and high pile felt create an exhibition-like space. The store also has an open-air courtyard to boast of, finished with wood flooring and polished concrete seating.
