This award-winning architect is to the world of structural design what is Louis Vuitton to the world of luxury and fashion. Architect from Los Angeles is often in the news nowadays because of designing Louis Vuitton Foundation in the heart of Paris.

Gehry designed LV window displays will have its global debut this month. Series of curved metal structures, inspired by sailing and fishing boats, as well as abstract artworks of this artist will decorate shop windows of Louis Vuitton boutiques. Paying tribute to famous Canadian-American structures that are the work of this architect, windows will have the illusion of movement, as if they are floating in the open sea.

By the way, Frank Gehry has designed a few items that are a part of the Louis Vuitton fashion collections The Icons and The Iconoclasts. These are the bag and suitcase, which will be available for purchase in October of this year, and bear the signature of this renowned artist.

Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation will open its gates to the public on October 27, and will also present an exhibition dedicated to the architectural side of the building and all the elements that it incorporates. Frank Gehry liaison with the Louis Vuitton brand is very strong, as evidenced by the fact that his sculptures adorn the three windows of boutiques at Saks Fifth Avenue.
