SALON OF EXCELLENCE presented LE MANI DI NAPOLI in BELGRADE

This May in Belgrade, at the Italian Institute for Culture, a new Salon of Excellence, was dedicated to the artisans from NAPLES, members of the prestigious organization LE MANI DI NAPOLI (Hands of Naples), uniting the most important craftsmen from Naples and Italy in the domain of men's elegance, as the finest representatives of HAND MADE IN ITALY.

During the opening gala on May 15,2024,  after the welcome speeches of HE Ambassador of Italy, Luca Gori and Roberto Cincotta, director of the Italian Culture Institute, the keynote address was given by the well-known men’s elegance expert, aesthete and president of Le Mani di Napoli, Mr. Giancarlo Maresca.

One of highlights of the event was a presentation on hot topic of AI given by the special guest of the event, Mrs.Vera Kenehan, a seasoned Silicon Valley professional and advisor to numerous AI startups, who flew in from San Francisco, especially for the occasion to take part

at the symposium titled HANDWORK IN THE ERA OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI). Discussion ensued with Le Mani di Napoli member artisans, who evaluated possible implications of AI in their respective fields of expertise.

Closing the symposium, the founder of LE MANI DI NAPOLI, Giancarlo Maresca, was awarded the MASTER OF ELEGANCE acknowledgment (presented by DeGorsi organization, since 2016), for his contribution to the world of elegance and promotion of artisanal handwork worldwide.

The Salon of Excellence exhibition featured creations of the following artisans and houses of supreme men's elegance: Sartoria Formosa suits, Alberto Nolano shirts, Gala Gloves, Paolo Scafora shoes, Alberto Voglio pants, Melina Napoli leather clothing, accessories by Barbarulo, Sartoria Sabino tailoring, suits by Sartoria Dalcuore and ties and accoutrements by Calabrese 1924.

Next stop for Salon of Excellence is PITTI UOMO in Florence, on June 11.

Salon of Excellence event, founded in 2011 by Aleksandar Đorđević of DeGorsi Luxury consulting, is conceived as a promotional platform for valorization of handmade products of the highest quality and elegance.
