We are pleased to present Matterhorn, a mountain in Central Europe, part of the Alps, that represents untamable side of nature. It is also known as Monte Cervino and Mont Cervin.

The Matterhorn mountain and its peaks up to 4478 meters high are a true challenge for every alpinist. Famous alpinist Edward Whymper managed, in 1865, to become the first man in history to climb Matterhorn. With its steep hills, Materhorn is one of the most dangerous mountains in the world. Famous north side of the mountain wasn't "conquered" until 1931. From year 1865. until 1995. 500 people lost their life trying to climb this mountain.

The name Matterhorn comes from German word "Matte" - field and "Horn" - peek. Frozen peeks and steep cliffs of Matterhorn are terrifing, but every alpinist emphasize that beauty of this mountain can't be described in words. Pyramidal shape of Matterhorn makes climbing harder and snowy storms at its peaks "protect" this mountain from curious looks. After the railroad was constructed in nearby town Zermatt, the mountain became a magnet for true climbing lovers and attracts more and more extreme sports fans.
