Officially the Principality of Monaco is a sovereign city state, with Monte Carlo as most populated area. Saying „time is money“ has completely different meaning here – time is not used to earn money, time is not used at all, it is being spend, same as money. Monte Carlo is a big, shiny casino and the dream of richness falling from the sky. It is a favourite destination of world jet-set, not only for casinos, but for fashion shows and events.
For those who do not gamble, and who don’t care about jet-set living, there are Oceanographic museum – beautiful from architecture side, scientifically exclusive, with exquisite collections of sea species and sea based objects. Nostalgic and romantic people will probably want to see the Cathedral of St. Nicolas in Monaco Ville where many of the royal Monaco family are buried including favorite Grace Kelly. History lovers will want to se Napoleon museum with artifacts from the time of emperor.
