A unique lamp that you customize by touch

The kaschkasch design studio is well known to fans of interesting lighting concepts...

They are returning to the scene right now, creating a new lamp that you need to tap in order to adjust it. Given that we live in an era where almost everything around us is digital, it's easy to forget the importance of human touch. Designed for the Marset brand, the Bolita lamp aims to bring back a sense of touch through user interaction. When the globe of the lamp is moved by hand, its light is increased or diminished.

The Bolita lamp consists of a round base housing an LED bulb on the central axis, with a glass sphere imitating eclipse as it moves across the surface of the light. Instead of the typical electronic process of reducing light intensity, Bolita skips mechanical elements and requires interaction and warmth of touch.
