NICK NOLTS AMAZING HOME

Veteran actor Nick Nolte has placed his Malibu estate on the market for $5.995 million.

This is a a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom residence with 19 feet high vaulted ceilings and skylights in the living room. There are six stone and carved-wood fireplaces, Italian marble flooring, mahogany French doors and a huge master suite with its own office.

The house sits on a two-acres of wooded property, and sports over 6,000 feet of living space. In addition to the residence, there’s a lighted tennis court and guest house (which offers an addition two bedrooms and three baths). The 72-year old Nolte has been trying to sell the home for almost a year – originally asking just over $8 million. The property has a bit of a history to it. Before Nolte the home was owned by Tommy Chong (of Cheech & Chong fame) and Don Felder (of the Eagles).

Nolte is a veteran of almost 100 feature films over the years, although he first gained fame in the 1970s mini-series “Rich Man, Poor Man.” He would go on to star in such films as “48 Hrs,” “Prince of Tides,” “Down and Out in Beverly Hills,” and “Warrior.” He received an Oscar nomination for the latter film.
