At a moment when the boundaries between fashion, architecture, and lifestyle are increasingly dissolving, the collaboration between ELIE SAAB and SAOTA introduces a project that redefines contemporary luxury living.
“ELIE SAAB Casablanca – Art of Living” is not merely a residential development—it is a carefully orchestrated living experience that merges the aesthetics of haute couture with the precision of modern architecture.
Located in Casablanca, the project brings together a collection of villas designed as private sanctuaries—spaces where daily life is elevated through calm, light, and refined elegance. Each residence is conceived to balance openness with intimacy, creating environments that feel expansive yet deeply personal.
A defining element of the project is its masterful site planning. Thanks to the sculpted terrain, every villa—regardless of its position—benefits from views of the Atlantic Ocean and an abundance of natural light. This philosophy extends into the architecture itself, where interior and exterior spaces flow seamlessly into one another, with gardens and terraces acting as natural extensions of the living environment.
At the heart of each villa lies a striking central atrium that spans all levels, from the lower ground floor to the rooftop. More than a visual statement, this feature allows daylight to penetrate deep into the home, reducing reliance on artificial lighting while reinforcing a sense of openness and vertical connection.
The influence of the traditional Moroccan riad is unmistakable, yet reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Exterior façades remain intentionally restrained, preserving privacy, while interiors open inward toward greenery and light. The entire development is free from surface traffic—vehicles are discreetly placed underground, leaving the ground level dedicated to pedestrian pathways, landscaped gardens, and tranquility.
The aesthetic language draws from the unmistakable signature of ELIE SAAB, translated into architecture through refined detailing and carefully selected materials. Ribbed concrete, pigmented plaster, and natural stone create rhythm and depth, while two distinct interior palettes define the character of the villas—one warmer, inspired by autumn/winter collections, and one lighter, evoking spring/summer.
Importantly, no two villas are identical. Each residence is tailored to its micro-context—its orientation, surroundings, and views—resulting in a living experience that moves beyond standardized luxury developments.
At the center of the community lies a clubhouse, envisioned as a social and cultural anchor. With its sculptural façade echoing the architectural language of the villas, it becomes more than an amenity—it is a destination in itself, a place to gather, unwind, and step away from the rhythm of the city.
This project ultimately reflects what luxury truly means today: not square meters, not even location—but the way a space shapes everyday life. “ELIE SAAB Casablanca” is not just a place to live—it is a composed world where architecture, nature, and style converge into a singular, immersive experience.
