Montenegro sandwiched between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania is fast becoming a 21st-century luxury travel and property hot spot.
With a population of just 600,000, glittering fjords, Venetian churches, UNESCO heritage sites, 295km of coastline, a captivating history and new luxury developments popping up across the country – it’s no wonder the well-heeled set and discerning travelers are attracted to Montenegro.
The World Travel and Tourism Council have predicted that tourist numbers are expected to rise 10 per cent a year for the next 10 years. And increased visitor numbers have prompted Montenegro to set its sights on affluent travelers.

Other new developments include around Tivat and Kotor Bay in the north-west of the country. The Bay of Kotor is only an hour’s drive south of Dubrovnik, in Croatia. Lustica Bay is perfectly located along the Adriatic Coast in Traste Bay, just 80km from Podgorica and 10km from Tivat.
