A true jewel - New York villa with its own basketball course

Living in Manhattan has many advantages, but the square footage of homes is certainly not one of them…

People who enjoy spacious villas and large apartments will probably buy some property in the Hamptons, because even the largest residential areas in New York can sometimes act claustrophobic. However, that is not the case with the new listing located on the Upper East Side, which has enough space for its own basketball court in the basement.

With a price of 27.5 million dollars, this villa is the most expensive on the market in this part of New York. According to the New York Post, David and Dana Luttway bought it six years ago, and have been working hard to renovate it ever since. David is an investment banker, while Dana is an entrepreneur and the daughter of a former congresswoman, Nita Lowey.

This home measures 1,100 square meters, with an additional 260 square meters of exterior, which includes a roof terrace with its own kitchen and seating area, guest room terraces and a loggia on the ground floor. In total, the villa offers six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and extends over seven floors - and of course, comes with an elevator.

One of its main features is an arched window, which overlooks the street and is made of copper. If you go up the stairs to the second floor, you will see that the entire level belongs to the master bedroom, which contains two bathrooms, two wardrobes and a home office.

However, the best amenities are below it - there is a perfectly equipped playroom, wine cellar and fitness room, and if that's not enough for you, there is also a double-height basketball court.

Taking all the above into account, we believe that this villa will find its new owners very soon.
