It could be said that Kim Kardashian feels the unbearable weight of a large number of properties, because in a week, she decided to sell two houses.
Just days after announcing that she was selling her minimalist condo in downtown Calabasas, the superstar-turned-billionaire has decided to sell another one of her many properties. A ranch house near her posh mansion in the Hidden Hills community has now hit the market for $5.3 million.
Kim Kardashian bought the mansion for $1.6 million in October 2019, when she was still married to rapper, producer and fashion designer Kanye West. The mansion was built during the late 1950s and appears to have remained largely untouched during Kim's ownership.
The property sits on an approximately 1.5 acre lot and is curiously divided by a street that is open to the public, or at least to members of the public admitted to Hidden Hills, a gated community of the wealthy. Overlooking state-owned parkland that once housed the Ahmanson Ranch, the lot includes a four-bedroom, four-bathroom main residence on nearly 400 square feet of single-level living space.
Across the street from the house are the equestrian facilities, which include four stables, a corral and a space for storing food and equipment. For now, the current listing doesn't include any photos of the main house's interior, but older listings show the white wood shingle home includes a kitchen accented with a centre island, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast nook. The adjacent family room features hardwood floors, high vaulted beamed ceilings and a brick fireplace that stretches to the ceiling.
When it comes to the exterior, the fenced yard features a lagoon-style pool and spa, along with a covered patio with a built-in barbecue. The ranch-style property also features a four-car garage.
In addition to this estate and her Calabasas apartment that has appeared on several episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and has been used as the office for KKW Beauty and her clothing line SKIMS, Kim Kardashian owns and uses her aforementioned luxury estate in Hidden Hills. She also lays claim to the large La Quinta's Madison Club, where several members of her family also own vacation homes.
