French luxury furniture house Roche Bobois is entering a new chapter in its history with the launch of Roche Bobois St. Pete Tower—the brand's first signature residential skyscraper in the United States.
Bringing its celebrated French design philosophy beyond furniture, the project marks Roche Bobois' debut in the rapidly growing world of branded luxury residences.
The development was officially introduced during an exclusive unveiling event held on February 28 in St. Petersburg, Florida, where more than a thousand guests from the worlds of architecture, design, art, and real estate gathered to celebrate the ambitious project.
Located at 344 4th Street South in downtown St. Petersburg, the tower is a collaboration between Valor Real Estate Development, Gómez Vázquez International, Niz + Chauvet Arquitectos, and the design team at Roche Bobois. Together, they aim to combine the elegance of European design with the relaxed sophistication of Florida's waterfront lifestyle.
Rising 29 stories, the development will feature 164 luxury residences, with construction scheduled to begin in mid-2026 and completion anticipated in 2028. Designed as a fully branded residential experience, the tower extends Roche Bobois' design language far beyond individual furniture pieces, creating an environment where architecture and interiors form a seamless whole.
Residents will enjoy more than 20,000 square feet of premium amenities, including an impressive arrival lobby, an exclusive owners' lounge, an outdoor art plaza, a resort-style swimming pool terrace, a state-of-the-art wellness center, and hotel-inspired concierge services. Throughout the shared spaces, bespoke Roche Bobois furnishings will reinforce the building's distinctive identity and elevate the everyday residential experience.
Inside the residences, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows maximize natural light while framing panoramic city views. Designer kitchens, luxurious finishes, integrated smart home technology, and optional Roche Bobois furnishing packages allow homeowners to create interiors that reflect the brand's unmistakable contemporary elegance.
According to Patrice Chauvet of Niz + Chauvet Arquitectos, the interiors draw inspiration from St. Petersburg's vibrant arts community while embracing the French concept of Art de Vivre. The result is a collection of sophisticated living spaces that balance comfort, individuality, and timeless luxury.
Moises Agami, CEO of Valor Real Estate Development, emphasized that Roche Bobois participated in shaping the project from its earliest stages, influencing everything from architectural proportions and material selections to the overall atmosphere of the building. This close collaboration ensures that the tower reflects the brand's identity in every detail rather than simply incorporating its furniture.
For Guillaume Demier, CEO of Roche Bobois, expanding into branded residences represents a natural evolution for the company. After decades of defining luxury interiors through iconic furniture collections, the brand now extends its expertise to entire living environments where architecture, design, and lifestyle become inseparable.
The project's unveiling reflected that philosophy by combining architecture, design, art, and entertainment into a single experience. International superstar Ricky Martin headlined the evening, while artist Dreamweaver created a live artwork on the iconic Bubble Sofa, reinforcing Roche Bobois' long-standing connection to creativity and contemporary culture.
Today, Roche Bobois operates more than 265 showrooms worldwide and collaborates with internationally acclaimed designers including Marcel Wanders, Sacha Lakic, Kenzo Takada, Ora Ïto, Christophe Delcourt, Stephen Burks, and Joana Vasconcelos, as well as fashion houses Jean Paul Gaultier and Missoni.
With Roche Bobois St. Pete Tower, the French luxury house transforms decades of furniture expertise into a complete architectural vision, creating a landmark where exceptional design is no longer simply part of the home—it defines the entire living experience.
