The tests were designed to evaluate countries based on 65 attributes grouped into nine sub-categories: adventure, citizenship, cultural influence, entrepreneurship, heritage, working hours, the power and quality of life.
Switzerland has debuted as the best country in the world this year, due to global positive perception of its social system, respect for human rights and good environment for the operation and development of new businesses.
In the first five places in addition to Switzerland are Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and Sweden.
The United States fell to seventh from fourth place this year, because almost 75% of the surveyed people said they lost respect for this country, especially because of the toxic presidential campaign. This study went a step further and the respondents answered the question for whom they would vote in US elections if they were global, and 60% of people would support Hillary Clinton.
In Russia, the newly elected American president is the favorite, with 83% of respondents, a similar situation exists in China. Interestingly, this report has shown us that the four countries of the top 15 have women at its helm - Switzerland, Germany, Norway and Denmark.
Also, some of the most important factors in this study were paycheck equality, gender inequality, climate change and war in Syria where there was no clear consensus, while three out of four respondents agree that the world needed a new generation of leaders.
