ASTON MARTIN VIRAGE SHOOTING BRAKE

There’s just something utterly unique about Zagato designs; they exude a certain something that sets the Atelier apart from design houses / coach builders.
Some of their most successful recent works were created for Aston Martin, and this Virage Shooting Brake idea they revealed only comes to build upon that positive impression – it’s the final car in the “centennial trilogy.”

It’s a one-off customer special, the same basic car as the DBS Coupe and DB9 Spyder, but with a different rear end (an elongated and more practical shooting brake-style rump).

The model will be unveiled at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance 2014, an event which coincides with Zagato’s 95th anniversary. Its styling is (quite obviously) inspired by the 1980s V8 Vantage and Volante, but with an evident modern twist.
