Land Rover Defender - ready for all conditions
We've had the opportunity to see a number of Land Rover Defender models restyled in the past few years, but none of them are anything like the one we're talking about today…
Himalaya, a South Carolina-based company, recently unveiled the incredible LS3 Defender 110 Crew Cab model, which combines raw power with the enhanced off-road performance and comfort you expect from a luxury SUV.
They have succeeded in turning the iconic pickup truck into a powerful off-road monster, with custom-made panels and frames, a brand new powertrain, a modern suspension system, brake disc conversion, a new fuel system, electronics upgrades and a new air conditioning system, among others.
The biggest changes to this model are under the hood, where this model received the massive 6.3-liter LS3 Corvette engine, which develops more than 525 horsepower. For now, we don't have any performance figures, but we can assume that this Defender is really fast.
It is the perfect off-road vehicle that can handle any and every terrain with style and comfort in the spotlight. Speaking of comfort, the interior of the vehicle was given black leather seats, a modern Puma dashboard, carbon accents, a Momo-signed leather steering wheel and Alpine's premium audio system.
The interior also received soundproofing with the Dynamat option, so the noise level inside the cabin is in line with other luxury SUVs, despite the fact that it is fitted with large MUD tires. Is it worth $ 250,000? Whatever you say, you have to pay so much if you want it to be yours.
