Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Cullinan Cosmos, a one-of-a-kind Bespoke commission created for a family in Dubai, inspired by a shared fascination with the cosmos—sparked by the wonder of their four-year-old son.
This extraordinary SUV is not merely a vehicle but an ode to the universe, brought to life through details that celebrate infinity and the magic of the starry sky. The centerpiece of the Cullinan Cosmos is the world’s first hand-painted Starlight Headliner, crafted over 160 hours of meticulous work by Rolls-Royce’s in-house artisans.
The headliner is a free interpretation of the Milky Way, where layers of acrylic paint—applied with different techniques, even using a make-up brush—form nebula-like galaxies. Optical fibers are carefully positioned to trace the hand-painted contours, resulting in a work of art that transforms every glance upward into an encounter with the universe.
The exterior is finished in Arabescato Pearl, evoking the moon’s soft glow against the night sky. A hand-painted Charles Blue coachline and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy complete the celestial aura, making this SUV a true star among stars.
Inside, the cabin radiates tranquility and meditative elegance. Leather seats in Charles Blue and Grace White are enhanced with contrasting stitching, while Piano White veneers recall the icy refinement of satellite surfaces. A specially designed star cluster motif appears as hand embroidery on the door panels and headrests, and as a hand-painted detail across the dashboard fascia.
The Cullinan Cosmos was created at Private Office Dubai, the exclusive Rolls-Royce hub where the world’s most discerning clients work directly with the Bespoke team to bring their visions to life. For this family, the goal was simple yet poetic: to turn everyday journeys into a “drive through the stars.”
The result is a Rolls-Royce that pushes the boundaries of design and luxury while becoming an intimate universe in motion—crafted to inspire and enchant generations to come.
