TOP 10 BOND'S CARS

In addition for being the most famous secret agent in the world and great ladies man, James Bond is known for his luxury cars. Since the first film ("Dr. No", 1962.god) to the last ("Skyfall", 2012.), Bond drove beautiful cars, and they are some of the finest and most luxurious cars ever made. Bond’s cars have become iconic and synonymous with this action hero.

10. Sunbeam Alpine Series II (Dr. No, 1962)

The first James Bond's car was modest. It was the British Sunbeam Alpine, light blue. It wasn’t the most luxurious Bond's car, but Sunbeam Alpine won the hearts of the audience as the first car of the secret agent 007, and therefore takes the place number 10.

9.  Lotus Espirit Turbo (For Your Eyes Only, 1981)

The Lotus is perhaps less known Bond's car in serials and it appears only three times, but the car left strong impression, that the scenes with the car were the main parts of the film. Roger Moore, showed how the Lotus can be driven on the snow and Italian ski resorts.

8. Aston Martin DBS (On Her Majesty's Secret Service, 1969)

We can definitely say that the most famous car of agent 007 is Aston Martin. This brand has been used several times in the film series and became the most recognizable Bond's car. Aston Martin first appeared in the Bond film in 1969 and it was the DBS model.

George Lazenby, replacement for Sean Connery, drove the DBS which was very luxurious and elegant. Aston had a major role in the entire film, and some of the famous chase scenes, like driving through the traffic and winter storms and last scene in which Bond's wife is shot through the windscreen.

7. Citroen 2CV (For Your Eyes Only, 1981)

The Citroen 2CV is a car that does not match the Bond standards. Citroen 2CV is the cheapest car that James Bond ever drove. This model could afford ordinary people with normal wages, because this is precisely what it was - plain. However, this car is also remembered for incredible action scenes which was part of. Roger Moore drove Citroen  through the narrow forest roads in the pursuit that resembled a rally race. The Citroen is shown as a durable car, so Bond was flying through the trees, passing through bushes and pushing his opponents off the road.

6. Toyota 2000 GT (You Only Live Twice, 1967)

The first Japanese super car was Toyota 2000 GT and was very comfortable and fun to drive. Therefore, this car was driven by Bond’s girl Aki. The car was shown to be very compact, fast and agile.

5. Aston Martin V8 Vantage (The Living Daylights, 1987)

The Aston Martin Vantage is a car driven by Timothy Dalton. This model was the last to be based on the original DBS model and we can say that it was perfect. The smooth, shiny shell with metal parts and sleek lines made this car a Bond classic.

4. Aston Martin DBS V12 (Casino Royale, 2006)

The new version of the DBS appeared in the film "Casino Royale" and this model was driven by new and current James Bond, Daniel Craig. This model is presented as a very fast and powerful model. Unlike other Bond’s cars, DBS did not have "gadgets" like the others, and it was in its original condition. In this way, it is shown that the new DBS is perfect and that the additional help was not needed.

3. Ford Mustang Mach 1 (Diamonds Are Forever, 1971)

The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was the iconic car in other movies besides Bond series. Steve McQueen promoted the car in his film "Bullitt". Of course the Mustang in the Bond series deserved it’s place. The car is in one of the most interesting and exciting automotive scene where James Bond, played by Sean Connery, escapes from the police in an amazing way and on two wheels.

This vehicle represents everything a Bond car should have, and it’s not an Aston Martin. Equipped with a variety of gadgets to escape from all kinds of situations, so that Bond could not be catched by motors, cars, helicopters or even submarines, because the Lotus Espirit was anfibia vehicle, which means that it could be transformed into a submarine and go under wather and help agent 007 escape.

Finally, we come to the Aston Martin DB5. We can definitely say that this model is an icon of Bond series and that is rightfully the best James Bond's car. Presented as a defensive vehicle with visible systems for defense, it has the looks and the guns. The best known and most popular Bond's car looks beautiful and hypnotizes with its luxurious design. The car first appeared in the movie "Goldfinger" and later appeared in the movies "Thunderball," "GoldenEye," "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "Casino Royale".
